Final Year Project - Carbon Neutral Smart Solar Dehydrator for Agricultural Products with Digital Twin

This is my Final Year Project: a carbon-neutral solar dehydrator designed to dry agricultural products without using any external energy. The project incorporates Azure Digital Twin for off-grid monitoring and data analysis.

I independently designed and fabricated the solar dehydrator, drawing on literature reviews and adding enhancements such as phase change material for heat storage and release during periods without sunlight, as well as a digital twin for off-grid monitoring and drying time prediction.

I also conducted the testing process entirely by myself, carrying out continuous testing for one week on the rooftop of the APIIT building to collect relevant data. The data analysis was performed after recording the data.

Lestarial - Product Manufacturing

I have contributed to the creation of a lightweight product using Loriam Material and a 3D printed mold, alongside our team's Industrial Designer. Additionally, I possess expertise in material procurement and production optimization, aimed at reducing the cycle time of each manufacturing process.

Group Design Project - DRIVING ENERGY EFFICIENCY ON SUSTAINABILITY MANUFACTURING

As the project leader, my responsibility is to oversee various tasks such as scheduling meetings, work division, material procurement, engineering design, project management, and more. The project aims to monitor and predict the maintenance schedule of heavy machines using integrated sensors and visualizing the machine's digital twin in Azure Digital Twin.

DIY 3D printer - Modified Ender 3 Bed Slinger 3D Printer

The aim of this project is to enhance the print quality of my Creality Ender 3 3D printer by converting it into a Z-belt driven design. Additionally, I plan to make modifications to the print head and klipper config. I am responsible for printing and assembling all the necessary components.

Research and Development of WaterPod Project

Throughout this project, I gained knowledge on the procurement of NI equipment by consulting with the team on various testing options and creating a quote for the purchase of NI equipment from element14, a distributor of NI equipment. Additionally, I successfully connected the NI DAQ system to LabVIEW to gather real-time data from the sensors.
