INDUSTRIAL DESIGN CATEGORY - SILVER AWARD
The winning team including Chong Chee Kin, Bennie Beh Hue May and Elson Loo Xin Yang stood out among 29 finalists from 8 countries, bagging the Silver Prize in the Industrial Design Category at the Taipei Design Award 2023! The design idea is SERENIX – a regenerative casket crafted from Loriam, a sustainable cardboard composite. It offers a peaceful and dignified farewell to those affected by emergencies or disasters. Smart City Hackathon 2023
First Prize
Our team secured the top prize in the Smart City Hackathon 2023 with our project COCAP—a device designed to attach to vehicles, providing 360-degree monitoring, carbon collection capabilities, and app monitoring functions. Our innovative design aimed to address environmental challenges, ensuring a safe and clean city for future generations.

Top 10
Our team has advanced to the top 10 and is now vying for a spot in the top 3 at Sunway University. Our concept involves developing an app designed to facilitate convenient access to public transportation services, aiming to decrease reliance on private vehicles in urban areas and mitigate carbon emissions.
